  They finally called me (rant)

  this weekend the man who is supposed to be my father finally called me.

  he did not call me to make up for cutting me out of the family, but to tell me that he is going to have back surgery for two crushed disks.

  now i don't mean to sound like a jackass, but if you don't want anything to do with me or my fiancee and her son, why should i give a rats ass about you and you life problems.

  hi clint; iv'e looked at both side of this thread , and feel both ways. this may sound over board to you, but see what you think. i would write out a written letter to you dad , saying that if he want's your affections and love, from now on in. that no dictates from the wts will , hinder your relationship between parent and child. and make him sign it and noterized right in from of him with two copies. if he refuses then his loyality is to the wts and their legal ways. my two cents. dealing with a legalistic corp. best of wishes . john

  logan; sorry you got food poisoning. but just think it could have been worst! you could have got SPRITUAL FOOD POISONING again. and you know how long your sick from that rotten food. In a way the 24 hour food poisoning is a blessing i disguise. in one day you vomit up all the poison and feel better... wow what a relieve.. feel better. john

  yes mac great work; since this is my favorite subject with my jw dad. for the last few years. and he started again yesterday morning with my non jw brother. when my brother called me on the phone ,dad was next to calling the police to screaming, to hiding in the bathroom , to turning red. in a hour phone call with my brother in the middle on the phone. and mom calling in the back ground the watchtower is more full of sh!t than pres clinton.. in just about every defense he had for his lord and savoir, the wts. we caught him in another lie. at least 50 times bareing faqlse witness in the name of god. after he started turning blue , b/c he could'nt answer a question about 1919. and how they were buying war bonds.etc i figured i would throw in the egyptian SUN GOD RA on most of their book till the 20's jesus really loved that !!!!! lol. i ended off with the creators promise that the generation that SAW THE EVENTS OF 1914 WILL LIVE TO SEE THE NEW SYSTEM. FROM EVERY AWAKE TILL OCT 1995 . and had my brother read it over and over to him. i only did that because that was my dad's favorite wt sales pitch even till a few years ago. he could go on for 30 minutes on the generation of 1914 stuff and stand there and laugh in your face if you didn't believe the words of jesus about the 1914 gen. well my bro. told me dad started dancing around the kitchen , after he lied and told us he never preached the 1914 generation...... i here he's still dancing around the kitchen table... john

  Witnesses coming Saturday... I need HELP!!!!

  i got into a rather heated discussion this morning with my unbaptised but raised jehovah's witness wife.

  we discussed so many things: feb 1 watchtower article on 607 and 1914, the un, beth sarim, blood, god's mouthpiece here on earth, etc.

  this was yet another attempt on my part to try to plant a seed of doubt.

  GT: You did a fine job to controling the talk. that is truely a jw weak spot not being able to lead the dance.it seemed like every question you asked set them up like bowling pin,s.. the ymca was a great play and there is a 1981 wt that says." any christian that joins an org. that is not acceptable to jehovah, has da'ed him self from jehovah etc." so in that instance the gb da'ed them selves from god by joining the u.n. i also hope you showed them the u.n. info about how you don't need to be an ngo to get a library card, also the fact that any info in the u.n. library is also avalable at the new york city main library branch at 42th street. the 144k idea was great also and if they was to talk about it more i would ask them to bring the kingdom interliner tranlation with them, so you can show them in the greek the 144k and the great crowd are in the same place in rev 7 the greek word (naos) spelling?..but i would try to leave the bible out.. as for the word jehovah . it was made up by a 12th century francesian (catholic)? monk named raymondo martini, in spain.in latin. and that info is in the wt insights book vol2? i don't know far you went with them on the 1914-1918 stuff. but you did get them to commit to it. so now ,it's up to them to back it up . at this point i don't think they will really want to talk with you much more. but if they do make sure you control the next talk the same way you did the first. if they bring you an answer about the u.n. i would tell them to leave the info with you , so you can check it first for truth!!! and take over the talk with your next move..the best part about this whole thing , is the way you have shown your children , that dad ain't no dummy, and did his homework and exposed the wt as the liars that they are. since your kids seem to be open to the things you find out about the wt. i would continue to expose them at every turn. remember once you have these jw's back on their heels they fall quick. wishing you and your family well ............john

  Jesus chose the WTS in 1918/9, it's the only absolute!

  after all the dust settles it appears that the only thing the wts can hang its hat on is that jesus approved what the wts was doing to further the kingdom interests in 1918/9 - no matter the changes of new light before and since.

  so just what was it that the wts doing at that time?

  this IS MY FAVORITE topic with jw's. the so called inspection jesus did from 1914-1918 and choose the wt in 1919 when rutherford was cleanzed after a year in jail. i ask the jw's wow that was great that jesus did a 4 year inspection of all religions and choose the wt in 1919. it must have been great to be with the wts in 1914-1918 . and i bet all the angels in heaven were singing songs of praise along with jesus. this is the greatest thing i ever heard. then i ask the jw don't you want to feel like jesus did in 1918 about the wts? because i sure do...so lets have a study on wt books from 1914-1918 . so we can be as happy as jesus was with the wts in 1919. at this point they are dead in the water. next to no active jw has ever read any wt's from the time. ,and i already set my standard with them that this is the only thing i will study with them, because i want to feel like jesus did in 1918. so there you have it. an other current wt teaching, that no jw can defend.... john

  here's a pretty full proof, arguement...with out using the bible. .ask the jw's is it true that jesus did an inspection of all religions from 1914-1918. then choose the wt in 1919 after rutherford got out of jail. this is a current teaching in all the wt study books. once you get them to commit to this. say ok i'll study with you 3 times a week. but i only want to study wt books printed till 1918. because since jesus did a four year inspection and choose the wt on their pure worship. I want to be just as happy as jesus was in 1918.remember only wt books till 1918.,you will study. Now the ball is in thier court and none of them have ever read these old books. but here you have put them in a hole . tell them only to come back when they bring wt books till 1918 .or thier present teaching that jesus choose them at the time is nonsense. and if it's true jesus choose the wt in 1919 or 1918 then get out the old books, or they are just giving you lip service.. if you keep to this point and tell them to keep thier bible's closed till you can feel like jesus did in 1919 then they are waisting their time with a teaqching they can't back up...... good luck john

  i go out of my way to find jw's in the street. and get a phone number or look to hit on a weak one. on a good week while driving at work, i may run into some 20-50 jw's . i confront next to all of them. and have some nice talks and some wild arguements. but i always plant some seeds. i can not say for sure but i think i helped one elder step down after 2 years on the phone with him. and i have talked at lenght with some others on the phone . and at k halls , i get invited and take my new friend right to the hall library. i find the current wt teaching that jesus inspected all religions from 1914-1918 and choose the wt in 1919. to be one that no jw can stand behind. all i say is i want to be as convinced like jesus was in 1918 . so get out the old books till 1918 , and we both will be as happy as jesus was then!!!!!!!!! i've never had a taker yet on that study. john

  well without looking it up. rutherford did propheiced hilter winning ww2, and taking over america and britian just before the big A. and rutherford used daniel and the verses about the king of the north. and others verses to prove these ideas, from the bible... in fact rutherford even said angels gave him this info. from wt material from the mid 30- LATE 30'S just a a side note: at the 1935 144000 convention rutherford went asw far as to say arians(germanic people) were jehovahs choosen race,and all people of color will shortly be made pure in color ie:araians..etc.john

  well, it started out nice enough, i asked for a list of charitable works, (for other than jws) where their soup kitchens were, how a magazine will put food on someone's table, i brought up the un, the pedo data base, the whistleblower dfings, hoping that they'd be interested in one.
